Cassie the Airedale
The art of "PiCassieO" is the result of collaboration between me and my late Airedale Cassie. She "painted" the windows and I photographed her work and still have my fun with it, although she is only here in memory and spirit now. "PiCassieO" comes from combining the names of a playful artist (representing me!) and a dog who was always in the center of everything. I have a new art partner now, Calli (Airedale#3). We are leaving the blog title as is, in honor of Cassie, who started it all.

Hi, y'all! I'm an artist (painter) who discovered that my best buddy Cassie the Airedale had a lot to teach me about making art with boundless enthusiasm! She'd been making her wild and exuberant statements about life (and wildlife) on the windows for years before I finally realized what a talent she had. We collaborated on a sizable body of work for a number of years: she made the marks, and I photographed them and worked them over in PhotoShop, and voila - art by "PiCassieO"! Cassie is still with me in memory and spirit, and I continue to work on our art. Calli (Airedale #3) has joined me now in making more art from a different perspective. It is a rare privilege to work with an artist of a different species, and an incredible amount of fun, too. I hope you enjoy what you see here!

Standard unframed limited edition print price (8.5" x 11") is $30.00 plus tax. A six-color ink setup is used on archival matte paper for incredibly vibrant colors. Editions are limited to 50 prints. Payment is through PayPal; shipping is $5 within continental US, extra elsewhere.
